*Some Shorts may not be politically correct by today's standards.* The Alice Comedies were shorts made in the 1920s for Laugh-O-Gram Studio by Ub Iwerks and Walt Disney. They even pre date Oswald the Lucky Rabbit, who is usually considered to be the first Disney character. They star a girl named Alice (Played first by Virginia Davis) and her adventures in cartoon land (Shown as a dream after visiting an animation studio in the first short). The Alice Comedies were the start of Disney and are an important part of the company's history.
